Hussani Abdulrahim
Hussani Abdulrahim is a Nigerian writer. He has a degree in Pure Chemistry from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. Hussani was shortlisted for the 2024 ALCS Tom-Gallon Trust Award and the 2024 BWR Summer Fiction Contest. He won the 2023 Writivism Short Story Prize, Ibua Journal’s 2023 Bold Call, the 2022 Toyin Falola Prize, and WRR’s 2016 Green Author Prize. He has also been longlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and Afritondo Prize. His work has appeared in Boston Review, Wilted Pages, Brittle Paper, Evergreen Review, Omenana, Solarpunk, and Ibua Journal. Hussani is currently working on his debut collection of short stories. He lives in Kano, Nigeria.

Chinaza James-Ibe
Chinaza James-Ibe writes and practices photography in Nigeria. Her work has appeared in Luminary Lines,
Poetry Column-NND, Poetry Sango-Ota, Akewi, Isele Magazine, Lolwe, The Shallow Tales Review, Agbowo, Brittle Paper, and elsewhere. -

Sharon O. Okey-Onyema
Sharon Onyinyechukwu Okey-Onyema is a Nigerian writer exploring alienation through speculative fiction. Her novella, Hunting Tears, made the longlist for the 2017 Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Short Story Award. In April 2025, she founded a creative writing community to bridge the gap of mentorship by hosting free creative writing workshops for Nigerian Secondary School students.
Sharon is an alumna of the Nairobi Writing Academy 2025 Introduction to Short Story Class, facilitated by Makena Onjerika (Caine Prize 2018). She was a Story Judge for the 2025 James Baldwin Prize and the Assistant Editor for The Muse No. 49. She has short stories published in The Muse Journal, Liminal Transit Review and Artslounge Magazine.
